CAITLYN SPORING SIGNS WITH SOUTHERN ILLINOIS EDWARDSVILLE

All-State Tennis star Caitlyn Sporing signed her National Letter of Intent to continue her career as a student-athlete at the Southern Illinois University (Edwardsville).  Sporing is a 3-time All-State athlete for the BSHS Wildcat Girls Tennis Team.

SPORING EARNS FIRST TEAM ALL-STATE

GIRLS TENNIS WINS DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP

The Girls Tennis Team earned their second-straight District Championship on Wednesday evening.  The Wildcats topped Grain Valley 5-1 in the District Final to give the Cats the championship. After two great back-to-back District wins earlier in the week, the Girls Tennis Team fell to a tough Park Hill South team on Wednesday night by a score of 2 to 7. GIRLS TENNIS @ PARK HILL COMES DOWN TO LAST MATCH

The Varsity Girls Tennis Team fell just short to the Park Hill Trojans, 5-4 on Thursday night.  The dual was tied up until the last match, which the Trojans won.  The Girls Tennis Team will finish up regular-season play next week with three matches against Grain Valley, Blue Springs South, and Park Hill South.

GIRLS TENNIS CONTINUES WIN STREAK

  The Girls Tennis Team continued their hot streak on Wednesday night, defeating Staley 7-2.  Individual victories came from Caitlyn Sporing, Bentley Walters, Allie Brown, Malina McGaw, and Jenna Pope. The Girls Tennis Team’s graduating class of 2019 had a successful sendoff in honor of Senior Night on Tuesday as the Wildcats defeated Ray-Pec 8-1.
