30 WILDCAT STUDENT-ATHLETES SET TO SIGN WITH COLLEGE PROGRAMS ON WEDNESDAY (2/7)

30 student-athletes are set to sign their National Letters of Intent, on Wednesday at BSHS.  At 10:50 am (Wildcat Hour Shift 1) in the Big Gymnasium, these student-athletes will be recognized and honored for signing to compete in collegiate athletics.  All parents of these student-athletes are invited to attend:   Football Khristian Boyd – N.

FALL SPORTS AWARDS – SOFTBALL PLAYER OF THE YEAR

After over a week of voting, the results are in for the first round of voting for the first annual BSWildcats.com Fall Sports Awards. Thanks to a late surge of votes, Kelsi Baird won BSWildcats.com Softball Player of the Year.  Baird was a valuable member of the Wildcat Softball Team that produced a 21-8 record. CHECK OUT

HALLIE WALLS SIGNS WITH LABETTE

Senior Softball star Hallie Walls signed her official Letter of Intent on Wednesday to play college ball at Labette Community College.  Walls was a valuable member of the Wildcat Softball Team, helping the squad go 21-8 and earn 2nd place at the district championships.  Congratulations Hallie!

MADDY LAVELLE SIGNS WITH EMPORIA STATE

Senior Softball star Maddy Lavelle signed her official Letter of Intent on Wednesday to play college ball at Emporia State University.  Lavelle was a valuable member of the Wildcat Softball Team, helping the squad go 21-8 and earn 2nd place at the district championships.  

REGGIE KANAGAWA SIGNS WITH BYU

Pitching star Reggie Kanagawa made her college plans official on Wednesday’s National Signing Day when she signed her letter of intent to play softball at Brigham Young University. Kanagawa was the Wildcats’ ace pitcher during her time at Blue Springs High School, leading the Wildcats to a 21-8 record and 2nd place finish at districts. 

PAYTON MINNIS SIGNS WITH MISSOURI STATE

SOFTBALL EARNS 2ND PLACE DISTRICT FINISH

The Blue Springs Softball Team completed their season at the Class 4 District 14 Championship Game on Saturday.  After winning a 1-0 extra-inning thriller against St. Teresa’s the previous day, the Wildcats fell short to the Lee’s Summit North Broncos 3-0 in the championship game. Softball defeats Lee’s Summit 12-7 for Senior Night victory

The Softball Team sent the class of 2017 out with a bang as they defeated the Lee’s Summit Tigers, 12-7 on Senior Night.
