VICTOR MUGECHE WINS MISSOURI GATORADE XC RUNNER OF THE YEAR

30 WILDCAT STUDENT-ATHLETES SET TO SIGN WITH COLLEGE PROGRAMS ON WEDNESDAY (2/7)

30 student-athletes are set to sign their National Letters of Intent, on Wednesday at BSHS.  At 10:50 am (Wildcat Hour Shift 1) in the Big Gymnasium, these student-athletes will be recognized and honored for signing to compete in collegiate athletics.  All parents of these student-athletes are invited to attend:   Football Khristian Boyd – N.

4 BOYS XC RUNNERS EARN ALL-AREA

The postseason accolades keep coming in for the BSHS Boys Cross Country Team.  After winning the MSHSAA State Championship earlier this month, the boys have been busy collecting hardware and awards.  The Eastern Jackson County Examiner released their annual All-Area Team, which included four Wildcats on the First Team while three others earned Honorable Mention.

MUGECHE WINS KC METRO (MO/KS) RUNNER OF THE YEAR

Senior distance star Victor Mugeche picked up another accolade for his already incredible running career at Blue Springs High School.  Mugeche was named “Metro Runner of the Year” by the Greater Kansas City Cross Country Coaches Association.  Runners Oaklee Hauschild, Morgan Caurveren, and Gabe McClain were also named to the All-Metro Team alongside Mugeche.

OAKLEE HAUSCHILD COMMITS TO MIZZOU

Just days after helping the BSHS Cross Country Team earn their first team state championship in 35 years and earning First Team All-State recognition, distance running star Oaklee Hauschild committed to run for the University of Missouri. BOYS CROSS COUNTRY WINS STATE CHAMPIONSHIP

The 2017 Blue Springs High School Boys Cross Country Team made history on Saturday in Jefferson City.  For the first time in program history, the Wildcat Boys XC Team ran away with the team state championship. The Wildcats won the meet by their top 5 runners earning a combined ranking of 85.  West Plains earned second
