VOLLEYBALL OFFSEASON CONDITIONING ANNOUNCED

Head Coach Katie Grusing has announced official preseason volleyball workouts.  Take a look at the information below: Volleyball off season workouts will begin on Jan. 16th. Workouts are open to any athletes that plan to play volleyball next year. All summer and tryout information will be given in these sessions. When: Tuesdays/Thursdays, 2:45-3:45 (beginning January 16th)

This year, the money raised benefitted the KC Care For Kids Foundation.

VOLLEYBALL’S FOSTER AND VANRIETTE SELECTED FOR ALL-STAR GAME

BSHS Volleyball stars Caroline Foster and Hannah Vanriette have been selected to play in the MO KAN All-Star match at Avila College on November 12th. VOLLEYBALL ENDS REGULAR SEASON WITH VICTORY OVER LEE’S SUMMIT NORTH

The Blue Springs Volleyball Team finished their regular season in style, Thursday night.  The Wildcats topped the Lee’s Summit North Broncos in 3 sets (25-16, 22-25, 25-17).  The Cats received a big offensive night from Niya Harris who led all hitters with 15 kills. “Dig for A Cure” is a Success On and Off the Court

On Monday, October 2nd,  BSHS and BSS volleyball teams played in their 11th annual Dig for A Cure match. Beyond being just a competition, the event raised money for the KC Cares for Kids Foundation by selling t-shirts and holding auctions   A lot of work was put into promoting the game in the week

VOLLEYBALL SNAGS THREE WINS AT WEEKEND TOURNAMENT

The Blue Springs Volleyball Team went 3-1-2 in a volleyball tournament over the weekend.  Out of 15 teams, the Wildcats came out in 3rd place overall. Offensively, Hannah Vanriette was the team’s top kill leader with 30 on the day, producing 22 digs as well. Alyiah Bello led the Wildcats defensively with 56 digs while Caroline

OFFENSE EXPLODES AS VOLLEYBALL TEAM SWEEPS LEE’S SUMMIT (25-21, 25-17)

The Blue Springs Volleyball Team earned another conference win as they defeated the Lee’s Summit Tigers in two sets (25-21, 25-17). Hannah Vanriette led the Wildcats to one of their best offensive matches of the season with 10 kills and kept the defense on their toes the entire night. Caroline Foster guided the offense with 24 assists.

Annual “Dig for a Cure” volleyball match is a success

The Blue Springs HS Volleyball Team raised money and awareness for cancer research, on Monday evening.  The Wildcats partnered up with Blue Springs South Jaguar Volleyball to put on the 11th annual “Dig for a Cure” volleyball match.  The Jaguars prevailed in three sets (9-25, 27-25, 25-17). Head Coach Grusing came away from the match impressed
