Girls golf qualifies for state

Girls Golf took 2nd place on Monday, Oct. 5th at their home course, Adam’s Pointe.  This qualified the team for State competition next Monday and Tuesday in Springfield. Jailyn Marshall, senior and Mady Acers, junior tied for second place overall both firing a 74. Other BS competitors: Jordan Marshall – 97 Sierra Heuston – 101

Softball defeats Lee’s Summit, earns share of conference championship

Softball beat Lee’s Summit last night 12-2 in 5 innings. With the win, the Wildcats claimed a share of the conference championship. The team will be playing in the Class 4 District 9 tournament beginning on Thursday, October 8th. Click on district bracket below to access the playing schedule. district bracket

Boys soccer takes tough loss against Liberty

Boys soccer played against the Liberty Blue Jays Tuesday, September 29th at Liberty. Varsity Game: Blue Springs 0 – Liberty 6 JV Game: Blue Springs 0 – Liberty 4  

Boys swimming results for Tuesday, September 29th

Boys swimming defeated Raytown HS 93-90, and Raytown South HS 137-19, September 29th. Jacob Raines qualified for the MSHSAA State HS Swimming & Diving Championships in the 100 Butterfly event.  He is already qualified in the 100 Breaststroke, and the 200 Individual Medley.

Girls golf: DISTRICT CHAMPS!

Jailyn Marshall was an individual champ and Mady Acers was a runner up as the Wildcats  shot a 342 to win the Class 2 District 7 championship. Jordan Marshall, Sierra Heuston, and Emma Schmidt rounded out the Cats roster. Sectionals is the next step for the Cats, to be held on Monday, October 5th.

Girls tennis update

Girls varsity tennis (3rd seed) competed against Fort Osage (6th seed) on Monday, September 28th. The first to 5 wins gets the match victory. Doubles winners: Caitlyn Sporing & Aspen Walters 8-0 Mickey Urfer & Faith Baker 8-1 Natalie Sheehy & Alissa Clark 8-2 Singles winners: (that played & finished) Caitlyn Sporing 6-1, 6-0 Aspen
