Howk wins Wrestling National Championship

Ali Howk, now a sophomore at Blue Springs High, won the USA Wrestling National Championships, held in July, in Fargo, North Dakota. Ali won the 106 lb. weight division and is now the 4th wrestler in Blue Springs history to win the National Freestyle Championships in Fargo. Ali is also an outstanding student here at

Softball team wins Joplin tournament

The softball team won the Joplin tournament over the weekend. Beating Staley in the semifinals, then defeated Park Hill South for the championship.
