Solid performances across the board propelled the Wildcats girls track team to a conference championship. Scoring 162 points, the Cats recorded a number of conference champions and placers.
According to Coach Reeder, this team “win” is unique in many ways. “We didn’t have a lot of first place finishes, which makes our team even more special: a lot of girls contributing whatever they can to help us win.”
Gabby Hall won the Golden Shoe award, which is given to the highest point scorer in the Conference meet. She scored 26.5 points.
Conference winners include:
- Long and triple jump – Alicia Starr
- 4×800 meter relay – Lydia Alipio, Emily Hubner, Elyse Valdivia, Maria Wendell
- 100 meter hurdles – Sarah Coy
- 4×200 meter relay – Aliyah Lee, Jessica Lawson, Jenna Jacoby, Gabby Hall
