DANIEL PARKER JR SCORES 38 TO HELP BOYS BASKETBALL DEFEAT LEE’S SUMMIT NORTH

Daniel Parker Jr. continued his incredible sports year, last night against Lee’s Summit North.  Parker Jr. hit nine 3-pointers on his way to 38 points as the Wildcats topped the Lee’s Summit North Broncos 88-71.  Parker Jr. was absolutely dominant in the 3rd quarter, scoring 21 of his 38 points.  RJ Lawrence contributed with 28

MR. WILDCAT PARTICIPANTS ANNOUNCED

The BSHS Student Senate has announced the 16 participants for next month’s Mr. Wildcat competition.  Congratulations to these gentlemen on earning the right to compete in one of Blue Springs High School’s longest standing traditions.   The first informational meeting for the participants is tomorrow (Wednesday, Feb 14th) in room 314 during Wildcat Hour Shift-A.  

BELLO SCORES 15 AGAINST LEE’S SUMMIT NORTH

The Varsity Girls Basketball Team had another conference matchup on Monday night.  The Wildcats fell to the Lee’s Summit North Broncos 57-40.  The game gives the Wildcats a 9-12 overall record with a 6-5 conference mark. DPJ SCORES 33 AS BASKETBALL FALLS TO PARK HILL

Daniel Parker Jr. continued his unbelievable year in athletics by outscoring fellow Division-1 football prospect Ronnie Bell in a conference basketball game.  Parker Jr. had 33 for Blue Springs while Bell had 31 to lead Park Hill to a 67-62 victory. 7 WRESTLERS QUALIFY FOR STATE AT DISTRICTS

The Wrestling Team just finished a successful District Championship where the team earned 3rd overall and qualified 7 athletes for the MSHSAA State Championship, next weekend. The Wildcats were led by victories from Blake Heil and Zach Hazen.  Korbin Shepherd, DeAndre Thomas, Ray Horton, Jett Merlo, and Jason Gross also qualified for state.
