LUFFT WINS CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE YEAR AS 7 EARN ALL-CONFERENCE

Congratulations to the 7 student-athletes who earned All-Conference after the 2018 HS Baseball Season.  The Baseball Team went 21-11 to give the program their first 20-win season since 2008. REGGIE KANAGAWA NAMED ALL-AMERICAN

Senior pitcher Reggie Kanagawa was recently named an All-American by the publication, FloSoftball.  Kanagawa will take her talents to BYU after being the Wildcats’ ace the last few seasons.  Kanagawa was also a standout basketball player for the District Champion Girls Basketball Team and is a favorite to earn First Team All-State for the Girls Track/Field

BASEBALL WRAPS UP SEASON AT DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP

Last week, the Baseball Team concluded their season in the District Championship against Blue Springs South.  The Wildcats fell just short to the Jaguars, 8-6.  Ryan Urfer pitched 5 and 1/3 innings, allowing only 1 run while Jake Lufft and Caleb Marquez paced the offense with home runs.  The Wildcats finished 21-11, their first 20+

BOYS TRACK/FIELD EARNS 2ND AT SECTIONALS

The Boys Track/Field Team earned 2nd place at the Sectional Championships, over the weekend.  The defending state champion Wildcats were just 6 points behind Lee’s Summit North.
