BOYS SWIM/DIVE CELEBRATES SENIOR NIGHT

The BSHS Boys Swim/Dive Graduating Class of 2018 celebrated their Senior Night at Centennial Pool on Tuesday night.  The Wildcats fell short to state title contender Liberty High School in a dual meet where Coach Bigham’s 8 seniors were recognized.  Liberty came out on top 122-64.

Jake Hubbard, Zach Raines, Ryan Urfer, Shaun Van Hoesen, Garrett Delk, Parker Reed, Seth Sims, and Riley Smith were honored on Tuesday night by the BSHS Swim/Dive Booster Club during halftime of the team’s last regular season meet of the season.  The Wildcats had two Senior Managers who were also recognized: Brittany Mullins and Sara Zabel.

The Wildcats had a much improved year, finishing the regular season at 12-3.  This is the Cats’ first double digit win total in 5 years.  The championship portion of the season is next on the schedule for the Boys Swim/Dive Team.  The JV Team has their Conference Championships tomorrow (Thursday, 10/12) at Platte County YMCA.  The Varsity Team has their Conference Championships next week (Friday 10/20 – Saturday 10/21) at the Lee’s Summit R-7 Aquatic Center.  The Varsity Team will also compete in the Class 2 MSHSAA State Championships in early November.
